Mert Demir, who was born and raised in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, has been involved with music since childhood. After completing his high school education, he prepared to move abroad. However, when he received a callback from the "O Ses Türkiye" competition he applied for, he decided to participate and made it to the finals. He started performing at various venues in 2014. In 2017, he began his professional career by signing with FadeOut Music. In the late months of the same year, he released his first single titled "Uyan," for which he wrote the lyrics, composed, and arranged the music. On April 5, 2019, he released his first album, "Bak Kollarım Burada." From the album, he released a track called "Karakış." During the COVID-19 pandemic, he released several singles. On November 18, 2020, he released "Kimim Lan Ben?, Part 1," and a week later, "Kimim Lan Ben?, Part 2," two EPs. On April 2, 2021, he released his second album, "Kimim Lan Ben?," which includes the tracks from these EP albums as well as new songs. In September 2021, he received great acclaim for the single "Pusulam Rüzgar" that he released in collaboration with Melike Şahin. In November 2022, his single "Antidepresan," released in collaboration with Mabel Matiz, became one of the most listened-to tracks of the time.
